Johnnys Lil Cash is Lil Joe Cash’s highest-earning rope-horse offspring with just under $100,000 in lifetime earnings.

 “Cash” began his show career with Chris and Sarah Dawson, successfully showing in National Reined Cow Horse Association events. He’s now an Open money and point earner in the NRCHA, AQHA Roping and Ranch Horse Versatility, ARHFA, Royal Crown, Platinum Medal Rope Horse Futurity and Ranch Horse Assoc. of America. 

Cash is also the 2024 AQHA Level 2 Senior Heeling World Champion, Platinum Medal Intermediate Heading and Heeling Champion and a 2023 ARHFA finalist. He continues to be shown in the NRCHA and AQHA at both ends with Dustin Rogers. When it comes to versatility, Cash is he definition.

“He is a well-rounded horse,” Rogers said. “He’s great in the cow horse events and still winning in the roping. He has the right mind to back into that roping box however many times you need to get the job done.” 

In Rogers’ opinion, Cash has a great combination of good looks, a good mind and athletic ability. 

“When you walk into the arena on that horse, he stands out in a crowd,” he said. “He’s got cow sense, a lot of run and is a natural stopper; has a huge stop. He’s also blessed with a good mind. I can tie him around geldings and haul him with other studs. He’s a quiet horse.” 

Rogers and M Bar W Ranch are looking forward to Cash’s offspring coming into training age.

“He’s got everything you would want to pass on to your babies,” Rogers said. “He has proven that he can go show and win in multiple events and on both ends. He has the right mind to go win. He’s not a one-hit wonder.”
