Champion Stallion Dual R Smokin Continues Legacy, Becomes Million Dollar Sire.
Dual R Smokin, champion cutting horse and high-performance stallion became Equi-Stat’s most recent million-dollar sire.

WEATHERFORD, Texas – Dual R Smokin, champion cutting horse and high-performance stallion became Equi-Stat’s most recent million-dollar sire.

A Descendant of Mr. Gun Smoke, Peptoboonsmal, and the son of the number two all time sire Dual Rey x Smokin Pepto, Dual R Smokin has personally won $227,000 before retiring healthy.

“On the one hand, when you look at his own performance, and the bloodline he comes from, we’re not too surprised,” manger Cale Green said. “But obviously, at the same time, it doesn’t matter how good a horse is unless you’ve got good people training it, riding it, and caring for it, so we’re incredibly grateful.”

“Crossing that million-dollar sire threshold is something for which we’re incredibly grateful,” owner Dave Kuhl says. “It’s not a number you can reach without a lot of different people and things coming together. It’s not just the one horse, or one trainer, or one owner, but more so it proves the blood of a long line of great horses and the dedication of a lot of people that really make this industry what it is. We couldn’t be prouder to have a part in this milestone.”
