The Danny Dietz Memorial Classic brings together Navy Seals and other veterans with the best ropers in the business for a ProAm, Open Roping, rifle shoot, gala and more to give back to Special Ops Forces and first responders and their surviving families. Last year, Kaleb Driggers and Wesley Thorp got the win, and you can re-watch the whole thing still on Roping.com. Plus, we shot a documentary on the foundation, and that too is available to stream any time.

Platinum Medal Futurity

Aug. 31—Sept. 2

In its inaugural year, the Platinum Medal Futurity adds at least $20,000 to its 6 & Under Futurity and will offer a prospect sale from premier breeding programs as a part of it. Making its home at the Lazy E in Guthrie, the Platinum Medal Futurity aims to unite recreational ropers and pros to further the education and growth within the industry.
