NFR Practice

I’ve been practicing specifically for the NFR off and on for the last month or so. I rode two practice horses, three of the horses I jackpot on and a few on my good horses too. I run anywhere from 30 to 60 steers a day. I roped a lot of steers with Jade and also my cousin Chase. I try to make sure I’m throwing good head loops and my roping is sharp. I also like to get my good horses ready for the Thomas and Mack set up and make sure they feel sharp too. I practice a lot through out the year anyway but it’s always fun to practice specifically for the NFR. It feels good to show up knowing you gave it your all practicing and to feel prepared. I’m looking forward to getting to rope for a lot of money and a gold buckle in Las Vegas.
