Born on the legendary 6666 Ranch, Bet Hesa Ginnin is a flashy 9-year-old red roan stallion that enjoyed a successful early cow horse career under Terry Riddle before Clay Smith, a two-time world champion header, took the reins.
Smith and his partners understood the value of crossing the greatest cow horse line of all-time on the Four Sixes’ own successful run-cow cross. The perfectly-sized 15-hand roan is by the world-champion cutting sire Bet Hesa Cat, by High Brow Cat, out of a daughter of both Freckles Playboy and the greatest-producing cutting dam of all-time, Royal Blue Boon. On the bottom, he’s out of Ginnin Stoli, by the $17 million racing stallion Stoli and out of a daughter of the Four Sixes’ late, great leading cutting sire Tanquery Gin.
That kind of lineage is famous for performance and versatility. Bet Hesa Ginnin, himself, won the 2021 Colorado State Fair Open Derby Herd Work reserve championship, the 2022 Panhandle Reined Cow Horse Open Two Rein championship, and got qualifications to the NRCHA 2x Celebration of Champions and AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse World Championships.
“He’s smart,” Smith said. “He has a quick response to the reins, from the back of the box to the steer.”
The stallion is passing on his combination of size, speed and intelligence. Premier Rope Horses invested in the traits of this stallion with the intention of creating a new generation of top rope horses.
