“Hey Bartender! Let’s Go to the Thomas & Mack!” Denison Cracking Out Lovell’s World Champion for Round 6

Colby Lovell’s roan gelding Bartender—the horse Lovell won his 2020 gold buckle aboard—will get to showcase his skills under Cyle Denison in Round 6 of the 2024 NFR.

Denison and his partner Tanner Braden need to turn their week around after only getting one time on the board through Round 5, and the addition of 17-year-old Bartender might just be the spark they need.

“He’s so solid and consistent, he’s the definition of a winner,” Dennison, 25 and roping at his first NFR, said.

Bartender carried Lovell to the 2020 gold buckle in epic fashion, winning three go-rounds at the end of the rodeo to get the title. That gold buckle, though, came in Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, instead of in the Thomas & Mack, so Bartender has never gotten to shine in Las Vegas.
