Cowboy Downhill Stampede Race Champion

Wyoming bull rider Jed Moore (center, yellow ski coat) repeated as the Cowboy Downhill stampede race champion on Jan. 19 at Steamboat (Springs, Colo.) Resorts. Moore, who had to come from behind to win the stampede, also finished third in the dual slalom timed event. The timed event was won by Colorado’s Jerad Schlegel. Kaycee Feild of Payson, Utah was second. Both are bareback riders. The best wreck award went to steer wrestler Eric Brynildson from Rifle, Colo.
