Deal Breakers: Round 8 NFR Steer Report
Round 8—the third run on the biggest steers—will help shake out the World Standings and Aggregate races.

793 Dustin Egusquiza and Travis Graves

Clint Summers and Ross Ashford had this steer in Round 2. He was a good chance to be fast, but Ashford missed his dally. He could be a day-money steer. Derrick Begay waved it off his smaller set of horns in Round 5. 

770 Quinn Kesler Joseph Harrison

Cody Snow and Wesley Thorp were 5.5 on this steer after a tough go. Erich Rogers and Paden Bray had him in Round 5 to be 4.2 + 5.

760 Coy Rahlmann and Douglas Rich

Erich Rogers and Paden Bray had this steer in Round 2. Paden roped a leg on him when the steer hopped to the inside. Kaleb Driggers and Junior Nogueira were 4.7 + 10 on him in Round 5. 

766 Andrew Ward and Buddy Hawkins II

This is the steer Derrick Begay and Brady Minor were 3.9 on in Round 2. He’s a really, really good steer and maybe the money steer. Clay Smith and Jade Corkill got a barrier to be 4.2 + 10 in Round 5 on him.

759 Coleman Proctor and Logan Medlin 

 Kaleb Driggers and Junior Nogueira were 4.6 on this steer. Quinn Kesler and Joseph Harrison got the flag in 4.3 + 5 in Round 5. 

767 Derrick Begay and Brady Minor

Andrew Ward and Buddy Hawkins were 4.4 on this steer in Round 2.  Coleman Proctor and Logan Medlin won the day money on him in Round 5 with a 3.8.

775 Rhen Richard and Jeremy Buhler 

Quinn Kesler waved it off this steer in Round 2. Quinn nailed the barrier and caught up quick. Clay Tryan and Jake Long connected fast on him to be 4.1 in Round 5.

764 Clint Summers and Ross Ashford  

Clay Tryan and Jake Long were 4.4 on this steer in Round 2, and he should be a good chance. Coy Rahlmann and Douglas Rich had a NT on him. 

776 Brenten Hall and Chase Tryan

Clay Smith and Jade Corkill were 4.3 on this steer in Round 2. Clint Summers and Ross Ashford took a NT on him in Round 5. 

777 Tyler Wade and Trey Yates 

Triple 7s was a great steer for Coleman Proctor and Logan Medlin in Round 2 to be 4.2. Rhen Richard and Jeremy Buhler were 4.0 on him in Round 5. 

762 Clay Tryan and Jake Long 

Brenten Hall and Chase Tryan were 5.1 on him with Brenten off the barrier. Cody Snow and Wesley Thorp got him caught in Round 5 in 4.3 seconds on a good run.

774 Cody Snow and Wesley Thorp

Rhen Richard and Jeremy Buhler had to fish on this one to be 7.5, but he’s a good steer. Dustin Egusquiza and Travis Graves were 5.9 + 5 on him in Round 5. 

771 Clay Smith and Jade Corkill

Tyler Wade and Trey Yates missed this steer in Round 2. Brenten Hall and Chase Tryan were 5.4 on him in Round 5. 

778 Erich Rogers and Paden Bray

Dustin Egusquiza took a NT in Round 2 on this steer, and Tyler Wade and Trey Yates also took a NT with a lost heel rope on him in Round 5.

763 Kaleb Driggers and Junior Nogueira 

Coy Rahlmann and Douglas Rich took a NT on this steer when he turned his head in the chute. Andrew Ward and Buddy Hawkins were 4.4 + 5 on him in Round 5.
