Royal Crown Zesterra 6-&-Under Open Heading
Rhen Richard and his home-raised One Smart Pistola topped the field in the Zesterra Royal Crown 6-&-Under Open Heading in Rock Springs, Wyoming’s Sweetwater Event Center Monday August 8, 2022.

Rhen Richard picked up his third Royal Crown win of the week in Rock Springs, this time on Chics Magic Corona for $8,280 for A&C Racing plus $1,725 for the Flag Ranch and $1,725 for the owners of the late Royal Crown stallion FuryoftheWind.
Royal Crown 6-&-Under Heeling
J.D. Yates battled back with his last bullet of the week to claim the Royal Crown 6-&-Under Heeling title on the buckskin stallion Probably A Shiner, owned and raised by client Mike VanEgdom. The win—which bested the field of top heelers like Cole Davison and Dakota Kirchenschlager, was worth $9,750 for the owner, plus $1,935 for the breeder and $1,935—all VanEgdom.
