Gist and National High School Rodeo Association Re-Up

Gist Silversmiths has signed an agreement to continue as the “Official Buckle Manufacturer” of both the NHSRA and the Junior High Rodeo Division through 2013. The agreement continues to build on a relationship that spans over three decades.

Gist will continue to provide buckles for the National Finals along with other annual awards. The new agreement features the Gist Silversmiths Rookie Program, which presents the exclusive “Rookie of the Year” buckle to a cowboy and cowgirl in each sanctioned state, Canadian province and Australia along with championship buckles and scholarships at the national level.

In addition, Gist recognized all contestants at the National Finals for both divisions with the official contestant pin, a valued keepsake. Each state and province received generous product discounts along with additional purchase incentives, including eligibility for Gist’s scholarship incentive program.

“Gist is thrilled to continue this partnership with such a valued youth organization in the rodeo industry,” says Jennifer Folsom, V.P. of Marketing and Business Development. “This is a win-win for both organizations and we fully support the opportunity for these students to pursue their rodeo passion and enhance their educational opportunities.”
