The 2023 Horse Sale at Rancho Rio kicks off at 5 p.m. MT from Wickenburg, Arizona, and the livestream through Superior Livestock Auctions is available here.

Some 64 top rope horses sell in the Team Roping Capital of the World with Auctioneer Steve Friskup on the auction block and Ferron Lucero calling the pedigrees. Last year, Brooke Wilson sold Shane O’Hotto the top seller at $200,000, while Miles Baker and Trevor Brazile sold the high-seller in 2021 to Bryan Beaver for $250,000.

In 2023, two-time gold-buckle-winning head horse Marty sells courtesy Clay Smith, while Joseph Harrison will sell his NFR mount CRR Hurricane Fajita.

Other top talents like Dakota Kirchenschlager, Brad Lund, Shelby Black, Slick Robinson, Chad and Paje Turner and Lane Ivy also have horses consigned in 2023.
