Flag Ranch LLC—breeder of reigning American Rope Horse Futurity Association World Champion Chics Magic Corona—will offer its first-ever 2-Year-Old Production Sale as part of the 40th Triangle Winter Sale in Oklahoma City January 26-28, 2023.
The sale will offer 21 Flag Ranch fillies and colts, with 12 exceptional 2-year-olds along with nine Royal Crown and Riata Buckle-eligible 3- and 4-year-olds.
“The Rices understand what makes a standout cross,” said ARHFA World Champion Tate Kirchenschlager, who rode the Flag Ranch-bred Meradas First Diver to a Royal Crown title in Rock Springs, Wyoming. “They really know what it takes. They are athletic, made right and fast. Their breeding isn’t what’s necessarily trendy—but it’s what wins.”
Flag Ranch’s stallion lineup consists of One Time Honor, First Prize Diver, Vabellez, BR Best Asset and Bobby Starlight and offers diverse crosses on their wide variety of proven cow-bred and race-bred mares, setting the ranch apart and making it the only place to find their specific bloodlines.
“Their program creates REAL horses,” NFR heeler Cole Davison said. “They have the structure and mentality to make quality rope horses. They all have the foundation that you need. I wish people weren’t finding out about this best-kept secret because I wish I could keep buying all of them.”
Sale horses include 2-year-old maternal siblings to horses in Davison’s program, as well as full siblings to proven performers ridden by NFR qualifiers and World Series ropers, too.
