Tres Seis has sired more than $31 million in race horse offspring earnings and nearly $14 million in barrel racing earnings—but before this week, his foals had only won $18,684 in roping events combined.
Now, one of them is leading the 4-&-Under Heading at the Old West World Championships, with Trevor Brazile catch-riding.
Kiri, a 4-year-old bay mare owned by Reliance Ranches LLC, leads the Pre-Futurity Heading average with 685.69 on three head after the Oct. 13 qualifying rounds in Amarillo, Texas. She won Round 1 with 227.99 and Round 2 with 231.81, the highest score in the class’s three rounds, collecting $2,000 for each. She was third in Round 3 with 225.89.
She takes a 7.69-point lead into the short round as the high callback, and she’s one of two Graduate Sale Horses in the top three.
Brazile, a 26-time PRCA world champion, has shown her twice. He rides three of the top four callbacks—including the other sale grad in Crosby Ray Von, the Stevie Rey Von mare that sold for $1.7 million to Cracklin J in June 2025.
“Kiri and I just got along really good both times, and I think she does the important stuff really good,” Brazile said. “She scores great. She faces great, and she’s got a lot of speed, so you never feel like she’s maxed out.”

He said her breeding set the expectation.
“It comes from a really good program, and you expect, you know, good horses when they have that kind of bloodlines,” Brazile said.
Who’s chasing her
- Frenchmans Buddy, Kaleb Driggers, 678: gelding by Frenchmans Fortune out of Tia B Girl, owned by Kingpin Genetics. Second in Round 3.
- Crosby Ray Von, Trevor Brazile, 677.65: mare by Stevie Rey Von out of Ma Crosby, owned by Cracklin J Ranch. The $1.7 million sale record-setter is the other Graduate Sale Horse near the top.
- Kryptoniite, Trevor Brazile, 676.01: stallion by Metallic Cattack out of Fun N Fancy Free, owned by Earnhardt, Relentless and Solo.

A Grade 1 sire
Kiri’s sire, Tres Seis, was the champion 2-year-old colt. The 1999 brown stallion by Sixarun won the Golden State Futurity, a Grade 1 race, was second in the All American Futurity and earned $856,901 on the track.
His foals have earned $31.2 million racing and $13.99 million running barrels, according to QData. He’s the No. 2 barrel racing sire by money earned in 2026. Roping has been an afterthought: $18,684 total, and Kiri’s $5,224 is more than a quarter of it.
Tres Seis stands at Zerlotti Genetics in Pleasanton, Texas, for $12,000.

A runner on the bottom, too
Kiri’s dam, Jess A Diva Chick, is a 2013 sorrel mare by Apollitical Jess out of I Aint Jo Chick, by Chicks Beduino. She won four races and earned $54,936 on the track, with a 99 speed index. She was a finalist in the Easy Date Handicap at Remington Park and qualified for the Mockingbird Stakes.
Kiri is her only foal with arena earnings. Her 2020 bay mare by FDD Dynasty, Adjudicated, won a race and $8,460, and her 2024 gelding by Mental Error, Tarott, has earned $1,833 racing. A 2025 bay stallion by Tres Seis, King 36, is Kiri’s full brother.
Her record
Kiri came to Amarillo with $5,224 in QData earnings, all of it in 2026. She was fourth in the Gold Buckle Spring Heading Futurity for $4,024 and picked up $1,200 in the ARHFA Oilcan Classic Pre-Futurity Heading.
