Pro Rodeo Results Wrap-Up: Snow and Koch Win Clovis Rodeo

California’s Cody Snow and Texas’ Hunter Koch teamed up for the California run while Snow’s regular partner, Wesley Thorp, stayed home to welcome his new baby boy, Charlie. Snow and Koch made the best of it and won the Clovis (California) Rodeo after knocking down four head in 31.1-seconds, worth $4,141 a man.

Snow and Koch won the first round with a 6.3-second-run, worth $2,071 a man. They placed fifth in the third round with a 7.9-second-run, worth $990 a man. In the final round they roped their steer in 8.5-seconds, worth $525 a man. Snow and Koch added a total of $7,727 to their earnings. Snow is now fifth in the PRCA world standings with $47,824.44. Koch just broke into the top ten with $34,749.78.

Tanner Tomlinson and Ty Arnold won Rodeo Corpus Christi (Texas) after roping thee head in 14.1-seconds, worth $2,826 a man. They won the first round with a 3.9-second-run, worth $1,884 a man. In the third round, Tomlinson and Arnold tied Chace and Tyson Thompson for third in the round with a 4.7-second-run, worth $1,072 a man. Tomlinson and Arnold added a total of $5,782 to their earnings. Tomlinson is currently seventh in the Texas Circuit Standings with $9,417.08. Arnold jumped from 36th in the PRCA world standings to 23rd with $18,462.81.

Brenten Hall and Chase Tryan added $4,839 to their season earnings after placing at the Clovis Rodeo. The placed fourth in the average with a time of 35.2-seconds on four head, worth $2,521 a man. They placed fourth in the second round with a 7.9-second-run, worth $1,260 a man. Hall and Tryan roped their third steer in 8.4-seconds for sixth in the round, worth $720 a man. In the finals round, they roped their steer in 8.9-seconds for fifth in the round, adding $338 to their earnings. Hall jumped from 28th to 19th in the world standings, and Tryan moved from 27th to 21st with $19,478.10 each.

In the Texas Circuit, Casey Tew and Boogie Ray won the Angelina Benefit Rodeo in Lufkin, Texas with a time of 10.3-seconds on two head, worth $1,356 a man. They won the first round with a 4.4-second-run, worth $904 a man. They also placed second at the Henderson County Go Texas Rodeo in Athens, Texas with a 5.9-second-run. Tew and Ray are currently ninth in the Texas Circuit Standings with $7,407.83 and $8,425.26, respectively. 

Clay Smith and Jake Long won the Ropin Dreams Rodeo in Jourdanton, Texas with a 4.3-second-run, worth $1,397 a man. They also placed in the first round at Rodeo Corpus Christi with a 4.6-second-run, worth $1,234 a man. Smith moved to second in the standings with $63,672.83. Long continues to hang onto third in the standings with $56,172.83.

D.J. Parker and Scotty Raines won the Lakeside (California) Rodeo with a 5.5-second-run, worth $2,380 a man. Parker is 13th in the California Circuit standings with $3,022.78.
