Pro Rodeo Results Wrap-up: Wade and Saebens Rocket into Top 15 after Big Money Weekend; Dees and Siggins Dominate Caldwell and More
Tyler Wade and Billie Jack Saebens total the weekend's largest amount of earnings at $12,398; JR Dees and Lane Siggins jump up in the PRCA world standings after winning Caldwell and more.

Two-time NFR Qualifier’s Tyler Wade and Billie Jack Saebens had a big weekend of rodeoing, adding $12,398 to each of their earnings. 

They tied Chad Masters and Joseph Harrison and Colton Campbell and Dalton Pearce for first at the Gooding (Idaho) Pro Rodeo with a 4.2-second run, adding $4,275 to each man’s earnings. Wade and Saebens then tied Tanner Baldwin and Nano Garza for second at the Yellowstone River Round-Up in Billings, Montana with a 4.5-second run, worth $2,828 a man.

They won the second round at the Caldwell (Idaho) Night Rodeo with a 3.9-second run, worth $3,041 a man, then tied Garrett Rogers and Jake Minor for first in the second round at the Canby (Idaho) Rodeo with a 4.8-second run, worth $1,770 a man. They also tied Clayton Van Aken and Trey Yates for ninth at the Fallon County Fair & Rodeo with a 6.0-second run, worth $484 a man.

Wade jumped from 12th to 10th in the PRCA world standings with $70,187.28. Saebens leaped into the top 15, sitting 14th with $60,967.48.

The 2019 Bob Feist Invitational Champions JR Dees and Lane Siggins added $7,946 to their earnings after winning the Caldwell Night Rodeo.

They roped three steers in 15.4-seconds, adding $4,561 to their season earnings. They placed third in the first round with a 5.0-second run, worth $2,247 a man, then came back with a vengeance in the short round, roping their steer in 5.1-seconds to win the round, adding $1,138 to each of their earnings. 

Dees, a 2017 NFR qualifier, shuffled from 27th to 22nd in the PRCA world standings with $46,802.53. Siggins jumped from 27th to 24th with $45,950.86.

2018 Days of ’47 Champions Kellan and Carson Johnson added $5,051 to their earnings over the weekend, winning the Yellowstone River Round-Up with a quick 4.4-second run, worth $3,359 a man. They won the Steamboat Springs (Colorado) Pro Rodeo Series with a 5.0-second run, worth $886 a man. They then placed third at the Wyoming State Fair & Rodeo in Douglas, Wyoming, with a 5.6-second run, winning $806 each. 

Kellan is 47th in the PRCA world standings with $22,814.41 and third in the Mountain States circuit standings with $11,063.36. Carson is third in the Resistol Rookie heeling standings with $18,341.14 and fifth in the Mountain States circuit standings with $8,053.85.

2010 NFR Qualifier Ty Blasingame and Brandon Bates won the Moses Lake (Washington) Round-Up Rodeo with a 4.2-second run, worth $4,561 a man. They then tied Brandon Beers and Justin Davis for eighth in the first round at the Canby Rodeo with a 5.9-second run, worth $82 a man. 

Blasingame is third in the PRCA world standings with $94,112.50. Bates is 36th with $34,387.99.

Arizona’s Tanner Baldwin and New Mexico’s Nano Garza added a total of $4,509 to each of their season earnings. They tied Wade and Saebens for second at the Yellowstone River Round-Up with a 4.5-second run, worth $2,828 a man. They then placed seventh at the Moses Lake Round-Up Rodeo with a 5.1-second run, adding $1,681 to their earnings. 

Baldwin is 18th in the PRCA world standings with $51,988.84. Garza is just outside the top 15 with $54,176.47.

Cody Snow and Wesley Thorp are making their way to what could be their fourth consecutive trip to the NFR. They won the Canby Rodeo with a time of 11.4-seconds on two head, worth $2,840 a man. They placed seventh in the first round with a 5.8-second run, worth $412 a man, then tied Nelson Wyatt and Levi Lord for eighth in the second round with a 5.6-second run, worth $82 a man.

Snow is ninth in the PRCA world standings with $71,201.79. Thorp is 12th with $62,034.31.

Four-time NFR qualifier Coleman Proctor and former Resistol Rookie contender Brye Crites teamed up to win the Inter-State Rodeo in Coffeyville, Kansas with a 4.9-second run, worth $1,717 a man. They tied the Great Lakes circuit leaders, Coy Rahlmann and Ryan VonAhn to win the Eureka (Kansas) Pro Rodeo with a 4.8-second run, worth $915 a man.

Proctor is second in the PRCA world standing behind Clay Smith with $97,922.26, and is number-one in the Prairie circuit standings with $17,913.22. Crites is 16th in the Prairie circuit with $4,272.80. He is home for a few weeks celebrating the birth of his second daughter while his regular partner Ryan Motes carries on in the Northwest with Paul David Tierney who is making this first NFR bid this year.
