Three-time world champs Clay Tryan and Jade Corkill are in the hunt for a return trip to the Thomas & Mack, placing in a round at the Sikeston (Mo.) Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo and getting a go-round and an average check at the Lea County Fair & PRCA Rodeo in Lovington, New Mexico, netting $5,430 a man to put Tryan at 15th in the world with $51,445.87 won and Corkill at 16th with $51,445.87. Corkill trails the number-15 spot (Travis Graves) by $4,904, while Tryan has a $1,828 lead over Marcus Theriot at number 16.

Matt Sherwood and Walt Woodard placed in a go-round at Hermiston, Oregon’s Farm-City Pro Rodeo and won second at Logan, Utah’s Cache County Fair And Rodeo, then dominated Montana winning both the Bozeman and Missoula Stampedes. For their work each man added $8,078 to their accounts, putting Sherwood 17th among the PRCA’s team roping headers with $48,942.52, just $2,503 out of the 15th spot. Woodard has $28,745.08 won on the year. 

Aaron Macy and Cody Hogan won Omak (Wash.) Stampede with a 4.5-second run to take home $2,822 each. The duo also won the Cache County Fair and Rodeo in Logan, Utah with a 4.4-second run adding $2,681 to each man’s pockets. The duo then placed second at the Missoula (Mont.) Stampede with a time of 4.2 seconds pocketing each man with $2,363. Then onto Lawton (Okla.) Rangers Rodeo, the duo tied with Jake Cooper and Dakota Kirchenschlager for seventh with a time of 5.0 seconds to take home $1,091 each. Macy and Hogan pocketed a total of $8,956 each for the weekend. 

Travis Bounds and Kyon Kreutzer are currently sitting in the top ten of the Mountain States Circuit after placing at circuit rodeos. While the team is currently placing at the Wyoming State Fair & Rodeo in Douglas, Wyo., Bounds and Kreutzer placed second at the Steamboat Springs (Colo.) Pro Rodeo Series with a 5.8-second run to take home $881 each man. They tied for second with Cooper White and Tucker White at the Yuma (Colo.) County Fair & Rodeo with a 5.8-second run pocketing each man with $1,356. The snuck into the placings at the Kimball (Neb.)- Banner Rodeo after winning fourth with a 12.4-second run to add $241 to each mans pocket. The duo took home a total of $2,478 each over the weekend.
