Platinum Performance, Inc., a leading equine health company, announces their partnership with a new professional rodeo athlete, adding tie-down roper Tuf Cooper to the Platinum team of professional athletes.
The 20-year-old young gun from Decatur, Texas, has already amassed a list of accomplishments and is quickly becoming a star in the sport of rodeo. Highlights of his burgeoning career include winning the average in the tie-down roping at the 2009 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo and claiming the 2008 PRCA Overall Rookie of the Year. The likeable rising star was also voted Favorite Tie-Down Roper that year.
“I’m proud to be part of the Platinum team. It’s important to keep my horses in top condition so they perform at their best, and Platinum gives them that extra edge,” said Cooper. “They deserve the best in nutrition and I truly believe Platinum’s the best thing on the market.”
Cooper is blazing a trail comparable to his famous relatives; father Roy Cooper, uncle Stran Smith and brother-in-law Trevor Brazile. Although cast under some big shadows, he is clearly cutting his own tracks. Even as a young man, his talent was quickly acknowledged. At a mere 15 years old, Cooper won the U.S. Calf Roping Finals. He won the national junior high all-around championship in 2005 and added another national all-around and tie-down roping championship a year later at the International Youth Finals Rodeo.
“We’re excited about our partnership with Tuf. He is an extraordinary person with the talent to match,” said Marketing Director Amy Quintana. “Tuf can see the difference that Platinum makes in his program, and wants nothing but the best for his horses.”
Cooper joins the other equestrian elite who depend on Platinum Performance to help them properly care for their horses, including Olympic Gold Medalists, World Champions and a Kentucky Derby winner. ?Platinum Performance Inc. offers a full line of veterinary developed supplement formulas for horses, companion animals and people—available exclusively through licensed veterinarians and factory direct to ensure an optimum supplement program to meet each horse’s individual needs.
