The 2024 Cinch Timed Event Championship will return to the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma, Feb. 29 – March 2, 2024, honoring 40 years of unstoppable talent, and Roping.com is bringing livestream coverage of the event to your fingertips.

What is the format at the Cinch Timed Event Championship?

The Cinch Timed Event Championship is comprised of five rounds, and riders will compete in five events. After the first three rounds, the top 20 cowboys will return for the fourth round, with the top 15 coming back for Round 5 to determine the $100,000 Cinch Timed Event Champion. The times will be combined for an aggregate, and no-times will receive an automatic 60 seconds.  PRCA rules apply to the CTEC, although earnings will not count towards the PRCA world standings.

“The 40th anniversary of the CTEC is going to pay better, with one of the most diverse lineups of cowboys we’ve ever seen,” said Chelsea Shaffer, content director for Roping.com. “The horsepower is always second-to-none, and there’s nothing quite like watching the best in the world put it all on the line at the Lazy E.”
