The richest rodeo east of the Mississippi is back in Mill Spring, North Carolina, Oct. 3-5, and the team roping field is set with a one-of-a-kind lineup for the 2024 WCRA Rodeo Carolina.
For the first time at a WCRA event outside of the WRWC, a women’s team roping duo will compete as 23-time World Champion Jackie Crawford will head for nine-time World Champion Kelsie Domer. And don’t forget lady legend Jimmi Jo Montera who is making her WCRA debut outside of the WRWC.
The $400,000 event at the Tryon International Equestrian Center & Resort will also be met with added significance as the event will determine the initial eight athletes who will compete for the WCRA team, The Free Riders, at the 2025 Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo.
