Pedigrees of the Top 25 Head Horses in 2023 ARHFA World Championship Short Round

The American Rope Horse Futurity Association’s World Championship Short Round is STACKED with some of the best young head horses in the game—and the ARHFA head horse pedigrees are stacked with great sires, too. Here are the ARHFA results so far and the bloodlines of the head horses in the World Champion

Three sires have two offspring on the head side: Woody Be Tuff has two offspring in the short round: CR CALIFORNIA TUFF ridden by Clay Logan at 23rd call and METALLIC HARDWOOD ridden by Kaleb Driggers at third call. Bet Hesa Cat has BET SMART CAT with Andy Holcomb at seventh call and BETN ON A HICKORY at 20th call with JoJo LeMond. Bama Cat has Bama Montana is at 15th callback with Jordan Allyn and Flat Baroquenbama a 22nd with Wesley Thorp.
Nu Cash is the maternal grandsire of MYRICHCOUSINVINNIE ridden by Andy Holcomb to eighth callback and DT NU ACE N THE HOLE, ridden by Les Oswald at 19th call. He’s the only maternal sire to have two in the short round.
More than half of the horses in the short round are only 4-year-olds—14 in total!
