By legendary sire Peptoboonsmal, Brother Jackson carries one of the most influential cow-horse pedigrees in the industry. Peptoboonsmal was the 1995 NCHA Open Futurity Champion and has sired more than $28.8 million in earners.

On the bottom side, Brother Jackson is out of Shes Icing Onthe Cat, a $249,884 earner by High Brow Cat. The accomplished mare was a finalist at the NCHA Open Futurity, split third at the NCHA Non-Pro Futurity and placed at the Open Derby, Super Stakes and Non-Pro Super Stakes. She comes from the proven producing mare Smart Lucinda Lena and is the dam of multiple AQHA money earners.

Trained and shown by Ken Wold, Brother Jackson earned AQHA Superior Working Cow Horse honors and multiple high-point awards. His career highlights include reserve championship finishes at the NSHA Futurity, finalist placings at the NRCHA Futurity and Derby, and championship wins at the Idaho RCH Futurity and NSHA Futurity. In 2022, he returned to the spotlight with an NSHA Futurity Open Bridle Championship.

Brother Jackson’s influence is now extending beyond the cow horse pen and into the team roping arena. His offspring include Peptos Hickory Cat, an AQHA Superior Heading & Heeling horse and proven performer at the World Show and major roping futurities under Trey Yates. Peptos Hickory Cat is a Royal Crown Buckeye 5/6YO Open Heeling Maturity Champion, Best of the West Roping Futurity Champion and National Western Stock Show Open Roping Champion, demonstrating Brother Jackson’s influence in producing rope horses with cow and trainability.
