Circuit Standings Update: Kirchenschlager Jumps to First in Mountain States; The Bonnett’s Win Teepee Creek and More
Tate Kirchenschlager jumps to number-one spot in the Mountain States circuit; Father-Son team of Wade and Kyon Kreutzer won in Gunnison, Colorado and more.

Tate Kirchenschlager shuffled to first in the Mountain States circuit with $11,455.75 won after he and partner Buddy Hawkins II tied Kolton Schmidt and Jeremy Buhler for fifth in the second round at the Sheridan WYO Rodeo with a 4.8-second-run, worth $1,043 a man.

Tate Kirchenschlager is the number-one header in the Mountain States circuit.

Kirchenschlager and Hawkins II won the final round at the Central Wyoming Fair & PRCA Rodeo in Casper, Wyoming with a 5.7-second-run, worth $1,320 a man. They tied Chad Masters and Joseph Harrison for second in the average with a time of 11.6-seconds on two head, worth $4,010 a man. 

Kirchenschlager, who won the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo earlier this year, is in contention for his first NFR berth with $49,278.25 to sit 10th in the PRCA world standings. Kirchenschlager is from Yuma, Colorado—a town that hosts its own ProRodeo in early August.

Wyoming’s Clayton Van Aken and Colorado’s Cullen Teller won the Steamboat Springs (Colorado) Pro Rodeo Series with a 5.7-second-run, worth $1,022 a man. Then at the Cattlemen’s Days Inc. in Gunnison, Colorado, Van Aken an Teller tied Casey Tew and Jason Johe for third with a 5.8-second-run, worth $1,646 a man.

Van Aken is currently fifth in the Mountain States Circuit standings with $5,465.98. Teller is third with $5,465.98.

The father-son team of Wade and Kyon Kreutzer won the Cattlemen’s Days Inc. in Gunnison, Colorado, roping their steer in 5.6-seconds, worth $2,443 a man. Wade is currently 11th in the Mountain States circuit with $2,802.61 (unofficially). Kyon is sixth with $3,733.81.

Colorado’s J.B. James Jr. and Brock Hanson tied Kaleb Driggers and Junior Nogueira for first in the first round at the Sheridan WYO Rodeo with a 4.9-second-run, worth $2,360 a man. James Jr. is third in the Mountain States circuit with $6,903.85. Hanson is number-one on the heel side with $6,903.85.

In the First Frontier circuit, New York’s Eric Fabian and Derek Carey won the Painted Pony Championship Rodeo in Lake Luzerne, New York on July 13th with a 5.8-second-run, worth $563 a man. Fabian is first in the First Frontier circuit with $4,971.23. Carey is fourth with $2,399.52.

Ty Bargar, who is second in the First Frontier circuit with $3,974.57, and Drew Carnes, who is fifth with $2,241.45, won the Painted Pony Championship Rodeo on July 17th with a 5.2-second-run, worth $640 a man.

In the Maple Leaf circuit Logan and Keeley Bonnett won the Teepee Creek (Alberta) Stampede with a 5.6-second-run, worth $1,967. Logan currently is not in the circuit standings, but Keeley is third in the heeling with $10,026.53.

In the First Frontier Circuit, Zach Kilgus and Jake Edwards won the Heart Of The North Rodeo in Spooner, Wisconsin with a 5.5-second-run, worth $2,483 a man. Edwards is first in the heeling standings with $4,951.83.

Two-time NFR heeling qualifier Quinn Kesler is heading this year for Colby Siddoway. They won the Silver State Stampede in Elko, Nevada with a 4.5-second-run, adding $2,010 to their earnings. They placed third at the Ute Stampede in Nephi, Utah with a 6.4-second-run, worth $1,083 a man. Kesler and Siddoway are currently second in the Wilderness circuit standings with $7,239.16 each. 

In the Columbia River circuit, Oregon’s Ryan Opie and Idaho’s Chase Hansen won Elgin (Oregon) Stampede with a 5.0-second-run, worth $1,665 a man. Opie is third in the circuit standings with $6,661.07. Hansen is fourth with $5,004.09.

In the Southeastern Circuit standings, John Alley and Clark Adcock tied Kaston Peavy and Stephen Britnell to win the Chas. B. Davis Memorial in Ringgold, Georgia with a 5.2-second-run, adding $1,028 to each of their earnings.

In the heading standings, Alley is currently sixth with $8,833.77 and Peavy is fifth with $9,175.54. In the heeling, Adcock is fifth with $8,833.77 and Britnell is 29th with $1,823.59.
