Pro Rodeo Circuit Update: Ellensburg and Walla Walla Money Shakes Up Columbia River Standings; Rahlmann and VonAhn Pull Away with Great Lakes Circuit and MORE
With three weeks left in PRCA Pro Rodeo's regular season, team ropers are hustling to break into the top 12 of their circuit standings for a shot at their Circuit Finals and, eventually, a trip to Kissimmee, Florida, for the Ram National Circuit Finals.

Columbia River Circuit

With two of the biggest rodeos held in the state of Washington in the same weekend, the Columbia River circuit standings saw some major shifts. 

Terrebonne, Oregon’s Shane Erickson and Yakima, Washington’s Brent Falcon topped the weekend with the largest earnings in the Columbia River circuit with $4,846 a man, moving Erickson up one spot and Falcon up three spots each to No. 2 in the standings with $12,029.96 each.

Lewiston, Idaho’s Tyler Smith and Hermiston, Oregon’s Andy Carlson added $4,147 to their earnings after a consistent Ellensburg Rodeo. Smith is currently fourth in the heading standings and Carlson is third in the heeling standings with $9,856.66 in total earnings. 

2018 Resistol Rookie Header Jeff Flenniken, who is heading for Tyler Worley, added $3,878 to his circuit earnings, shuffling him seven spots to sixth with $8,443.92 in season earnings. 

Flenniken not only launched to sixth in the Columbia River circuit standings but is now 24th in the PRCA world standings with $50,293.46. 

Hereford, Oregon’s Steven Duby and Klamath Falls, Oregon’s Jason Duby each shuffled in the Columbia River circuit standings after adding $2,801 to their earnings. 

Steven is now ninth in the heading and Jason is sixth with $7,697.69, respectively. 

Riley and Brady Minor are currently top five in the PRCA world standings with $95,056.73, and continue to pull away with the Columbia River circuit standings No. 1 positions with $17,254.37 after adding $2,729 to their earnings. 

Wilderness Circuit

The Wilderness circuit saw some swaps in their standings, including Robby Farias and Jade Anderson, who made the biggest leaps. 

Blackfoot, Idaho’s Jaguar Terrill and Rexburg, Idaho’s Jason Warner both made a jump in the Wilderness circuit standings after adding $3,147 to their earnings. 

Terrill jumped two spots to third in the Wilderness circuit standings and Warner jumped three spots to fourth with $12,485.57, respectively. 

Delta, Utah’s Hagen Peterson jumped three spots in the Wilderness circuit heading standings and Ogden, Utah’s Jace Nielson continues to hang in the No. 3 position in the heeling after adding $2,879 to his earnings. 

Peterson is fourth in the Wilderness circuit standings with $11,477.82, and Nelson is third with $15,092.72.

Kilauea, Hawaii’s Robby Farias and Genola, Utah’s Jade Anderson made the biggest shake in the Wilderness circuit standings, launching eight spots after adding $2,708 to their earnings. 

Farias broke into the top 10 of the Wilderness heading standings with $6,413.30. Anderson is just outside the top 12, sitting 14th with $3,853.64. 

Pingree, Idaho’s Max Kuttler made the second biggest jump in the Wilderness circuit heading standings, moving up seven spots to 12th with $5,368.77 in season earnings after her and Lake Shore, Utah’s Cole Wilson added $1,897 to each of their earnings. Wilson is now eighth with $6,780.14.

Great Lakes Circuit 

In the Great Lakes Circuit, header Coy Rahlmann and heeler Ryan VonAhn continue to maintain their No. 1 positions, while heeler Brent Miller taps World Champion heeler Cory Petska on the head side. 

Mauston, Wisconsin’s Brent Miller is currently heeling for 2017 World Champion Heeler Cory Petska in the Great Lakes circuit. Miller jump to No. 1 in the Great Lakes circuit standings after getting a win at the Pioneer City Rodeo in Palestine, Illinois, adding $1,663 to their earnings. 

With just a few weeks left in rodeo’s regular seasons, Ellsinore, Missouri’s Coy Rahlmann and Palmyra, Missouri’s Ryan VonAhn continue to rake in money to pull away with the No. 1 positions. They added $1,489 to their earnings giving Rahlmann $16,696.81 and VonAhn $21,335.63 in total earnings.
