“When we jumped on the Roping.com team, we knew we had the chance to bring ropers even deeper into the elite inner circle of the roping industry than ever before,” said The Team Roping Journal Editor Chelsea Shaffer. “The chance to further our relationship with Jake, Clay and Matt was a no-brainer, but we also wanted to add Trevor, Patrick and Miles to the team to bring their perspectives to the table. I am positive that our members will love what they’re getting.”

Never before have ropers been able to access Brazile and Baker’s Relentless horse program, going into the tack room, the warm-up pen, the box and into competition with two of the booming rope horse industry greats.

“I’ve never gotten this deep into the inner workings of what I do in the arena, except maybe one-on-one with the best guys in the world in the practice pen,” Brazile said. “Roping.com’s new series—which we’ll continue to shoot video for throughout the year—is the only time I’ve broken down what Miles and I do this far, with this much detail.”

With Smith joining the team, ropers will have access to his easy-to-understand coaching style, with fundamentals that span the number-system and add to any practice and competition plan. Smith’s series will also include a practice plan and preparation for the Ariat World Series of Team Roping Finale.

Ropers and fans will also be able to watch Smith’s game-changing DVDs—“Driven” and “Driven 2.0”—in full-length on Roping.com, providing hours of additional streaming entertainment.

Video topics will include:

  • Colt starting styles
  • Finding timing on a loper
  • Using training tools
  • Rope handling
  • How and when to score
  • And much more!
