The Team Roping Journal’s Arizona Guide is now in production for the Winter 2020/2021, expanding its reach across the roping community world-wide.
This year the Arizona Guide will mail with The Team Roping Journal’s October issue, getting into the hands of thousands of ropers before most head South for the winter.

“At the Arizona Guide, we’re helping the many ten’s of thousands of recreational team ropers and their families plan the trip of a lifetime, every single year,” TRJ editor Chelsea Shaffer said. “We partner with dozens of businesses and producers across the Grand Canyon State to show you what they’ve got to offer, while serving audiences through teamropingjournal.com and its corresponding social channels that reach hundreds of thousands annually.”
The Arizona Guide, named the top Custom Publication of the Year in 2018 by the American Horse Publications, continues to expand. In 2019, it was delivered to the mailboxes of some 44,000 ropers, exposing brands’ messages to an audience who dream of and plan for a trip to Arizona each winter. In addition to that mailing, The Team Roping Journal’s Arizona Guide is distributed via e-blast to the brand’s list of thousands of engaged users. Each story in the issue, as well as a full digital copy of the issue, is distributed throughout the fall, winter and spring months.
“This year’s issue will feature a road-trip to Arizona, highlighting the great ropings people can hit on their trips across the country, as well as resources for where to rope every day of the week once you get there,” Shaffer said. “We’re also planning a full guide to caring for your horse in the desert climate, including products ropers should look for that will keep them and their equine athletes more comfortable in the dry heat. Plus, we’ll highlight local legends and great places to eat, play and stay.”
