In addition to leading stallions Slick By Design and Winners Version, Ariat World Series of Team Roping’s official breeding barn Highpoint Performance Horses stands four standout junior Riata Buckle Stallions with impressive resumes of their own.
Brace For Bernal
Brace For Bernal—the black, 15.3-hand son of Furyofthewind out of Zoom Bracer by Shazoom—has a speed index of 105 and was AQHA Racing’s 2013 Champion 3-year-old. An outstanding outcross on cow-bred mares, Brace For Bernal will add size and speed to head and heel horse prospects. He’s also a Pink and Ruby Buckle sire, with six other incentive eligibilities and counting, adding to his offspring’s value.

HP Dash Ta Fiesta
HP Dash Ta Fiesta is barrel racing royalty, by leading sire Dash Ta Fame out of Kelly Yates’ famous Firewater Fiesta. But Firewater Fiesta herself was a head horse first, and HP Dash Ta Fiesta could have easily gone to the roping pen with his picture-perfect, athletic build. The horse is World’s Greatest Horseman Champ Ron Ralls’ favorite stallion at Highpoint. HP Dash Ta Fiesta’s top performer already has over $35,000 in earnings.
Stud fee: $1,500
MP Sugeray
MP Sugeray, by Kiss My Hocks out of Sherry Cervi’s World Champion Stingray, is perhaps as destined for versatile greatness as any sire on the market. His dam, MP Meter My Hay, competed at the Bob Feist Invitational under Cory Petska after winning the world in the barrels, and her sire, Dinero, won hundreds of thousands in ProRodeo competition in both the barrels and heeling.
Stud fee: $1,500
Slye By Design
Slye By Design’s first baby to hit the arena was a futurity champion in early 2023, but it won’t be the last. A son of Slick By Design and out of the Darkelly daughter Kellies Chick—who herself ran the fastest time at the 2014 NFR—Slye By Design, at 16 hands, combines Kellies Chick’s flat speed with Slick By Design’s athleticism and mind to put the best of both worlds in his colts.
