This year’s batch of NFR head horses have pedigrees that rarely feature duplicate horses, with only two horses sharing one first or second generation ancestor.
Both Kaleb Driggers’ Remis Gays On Ofadoc and Clint Summers WSR Hesa Alive both go back to Hollywood Dunit as a paternal grandsire.
Two are grade, and the youngest, Erich Rogers’ mare Popular And Famous, is the youngest at 9 years old. The oldest, Clint Summers’ WSR Hesa Alive, has 10 years on her at 19.
