SSG Gloves has released its new Pro Team Roper with Gel Pad-an improvement on their popular Team Roper glove. The gel pad is placed on the heel side of the right hand and protects roper’s hands from the concussion sometimes incurred on the swells of the saddle while dallying. The makers also added more reinforcement for long wear. The glove is only available for the right hand.

A glove specifically made for heelers is also now available from SSG. The Pro-Tex Heeler with Gel Pad features a long-lasting Kevlar palm, gel pad to protect against bruising or breaking of the fifth metacarpal bone on the heel of the hand. It’s also redesigned from the original Pro-Tex Heeler to ensure comfort and confidence in competition by adding a neoprene band across the knuckle area for greater flexibility.
