This month’s favorite bit: DT Stopper by Randy Reid

“It’s just a flat bar port with a little tiny gag. I like that bit because you don’t have to pull on a horse very much. I’ve rode it on quite a few horses, especially some strong head horses, and it seems like I never have to pull that much, and the horses are easier to ride. It has a lot of feel. I don’t have to pull that much on the corner and then when I want to face it breaks in half to where it really makes them finish. It’s enough bit that I don’t have to be pulling on them. I can just check on them.”
