Roping.com Takes Members Inside the Foundation of the Relentless Remuda
Roping.com kicks off 2022 with an exclusive, never-before-seen colt-starting series with the Relentless Remuda’s colt-starting expert Miles Baker.

MOUNTAIN PARK, OKLAHOMA—To continue to elevate the horsemanship of the rope-horse industry, Roping.com is kicking off 2022 with an exclusive series on colt-starting with Relentless Remuda trainer Miles Baker.

In this 30-part series, Baker takes Roping.com members from groundwork to the first 30 days—including outside riding—to give subscribers a never-before-seen look into what makes Brazile and Baker’s Relentless Remuda program exceptional from start to finish. Baker explains everything from how he encourages his horses to stand at the tie-rail to saddling fundamentals to bridling and the first rides.

“There are so many mechanics to everything we do that start in the earliest interactions we have with a colt,” Baker said. “From the aggression in our heel horses’ stops to the way our head horse faces, all of that starts with the right fundamentals, and I’ve never broken it down before like I did for this series.”

Colts by Brazile and Baker’s famed stallion Show Me The Buckles feature prominently in this series, demonstrating trainability at every step of the game.

“We plan to follow these colts every few months to explain their training process so ropers and horsemen and horsewomen can see what we expect along the way, and how we address any bumps in the road,” Brazile added.

This series is available in January 2022 on Roping.com, with fresh content rolling out weekly so ropers can start their own colts following Baker’s method.
