Marshall and Lezlie Wier of Wier Ranch had been looking for several years for a bay stallion with all the right stuff to add to their breeding program. A stop at Bobby Lewis’ place in 2014 reminded Marshall of Look At Her Glo, also known as “Betty.” Later that fall, Marshall called Cecil Rhoades, Betty’s owner, about buying an embryo from the great mare and ended up making a deal on two of her sons: CSR Gentleman Jake and CSR Dual Glo, plus an embryo.

CSR Dual Glo was first shown in the National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA), winning and placing in multiple events with Bobby Lewis for Dual Glo’s breeders. After the Wiers purchased Dual Glo from the Rhoadeses, Lewis suggested following the same program the young stallion’s dam, Look At Her Glo, had followed in accumulating her accolades of championships, including NRCHA earnings and over 1,000 AQHA points along with a world championship in junior heading. The Wiers agreed and Bobby Lewis guided CSR Dual Glo along to win the Redbud Circuit in Oklahoma City in the spring of 2015 and many other victories throughout the year.

By the end of 2015, CSR Dual Glo was the AQHA Junior Heading World Champion, AQHA High Point Junior Heading Champion, AQHA High Point Heeling Stallion, AQHA High Point Ranch Riding Stallion, AQHA High Point Working Cow Horse Stallion, a finalist in the NRCHA Celebration of Champions Int. Open Derby and was top 10 in AQHA World Show Performance Halter Stallion.

It’s clear to see that the Wiers had found the bay stallion with all the right stuff they had been looking for. Dual Glo is proving the world championships in his pedigree are no freak deal, considering his first two limited breeding seasons have produced multiple world champions including Bobby Glo Harlan, WQ Stonestimetoglo and Sevens Star Glo.

Bobby Glo Harlan was the first son of Dual Glo to win a world championship. The 2016 son of Dual Glo won the 2020 AQHA Junior Heeling World Championship and was the 2022 AQHA Reserve World Champion in the Senior Heading. Also attending the AQHA World Show in 2022 and bringing home a championship win, WQ Stonestimetoglo was the 2022 AQHA Junior Heeling L2 champion. Sevens Star Glo went to Fort Worth to take home the American Rope Horse Futurity Association win as the open heeling world champion. Wier Ranch looks to continue making champions sired by Dual Glo.
