La Fiesta De Los Vaqueros

At the 84th annual Tucson Rodeo-or Fiesta de los Vaqueros-Kelsey Parchman and York Gill roped three steers in 19 seconds to win the average and $5,368.

Gill has never qualified for the Wrangler NFR, but has enjoyed success at both Cheyenne Frontier Days and the Reno (Nev.) Rodeo. Parchman won the 2008 Wildfire Open to the World at 19 years old. They distanced themselves from more established ropers such as Speed Williams and Clay O’Brien Cooper, who finished third.
