The Clock is Ticking on the 2023 ProRodeo Circuit Season
What circuits are yet to be won and which have officially reached the end of their season?

The end of the 2023 ProRodeo season is right around the corner, with less and varied opportunities for team ropers in each circuit.

For a few, these last coming weeks might actually offer surprisingly abundant opportunities to rake in some extra circuit money. For others, the race is over with the 12 contestants locked in for their respective finals. Regardless of what’s to come on the circuit front, it’s bound to be interesting.

Bountiful Opportunities

The Turquoise and Texas circuits have the most remaining rodeos in the 2023 season, followed by the Southeastern, California and Prairie circuits. With multiple opportunities left to capitalize on the circuit front, it’s likely some standings shuffles will happen before the first of October. Or, will guys on the bubble for the NFR be making appearances in these circuits, taking money out of the circuit?

Reeling it in

It’s down to the wire in the First Frontier, Great Lakes, Maple Leaf, Columbia River and Wilderness circuits. With less opportunities left in these five circuits, it’s likely the top guys in each circuit are locked in for their respective circuit finals, but some shifts on the lower end of the top 12 is to be expected. Every year in the First Frontier, though, a few contestants clawing their way out of the NFR bubble will dip off to the East Coast as their last efforts, which can greatly affect how greatly the First Frontier Circuit standings will shuffle before the season closes.
