Cactus Saddlery Releases New Line of USA-Made Custom Bits

Cactus Saddlery recently announced the release of their new line of Cactus bits by Kerry Kelley. The bits were released to the public at Cowboy Christmas and were made available to stores at the 2009 Denver Market.

“When we began the process of creating our line of custom bits we knew we wanted to have an upper end, high quality line of bits that are very functional. We wanted to work with Kerry Kelley because he is known for his custom, high quality bits and spurs. Kerry helped us create clean simple designs that have a high-end look, for a reasonable price. I know we are offering the best quality bit available,” Said Scott Thomas, General Manager of Cactus Saddlery.

Cactus Bits by Kerry Kelley are created using high alloy steel to increase strength and durability. The designs are accented using silver, copper, and brass, for a clean, simple, yet beautiful look.

“Cactus Saddlery has a great reputation in the western industry,” Kelley said. “They strive to offer quality products that are made in the USA, and that’s what I believe in. I think we’ve created a line that we are both proud to put our names on.”

Buyers can choose from 11 Cactus Select Bits, or create their own custom bit by selecting from three shank sizes, eight designs, and nine mouth pieces. The line of bits will be accompanied by a matching line of spurs in May 2009.
